Dr. Li Tao's Joint Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine will settle in Xi'an High tech Zone

On the afternoon of November 23rd, a press conference was held in Xi'an between Xi'an Haibei Health Management Co., Ltd. and the China US Cyber Regenerative Medicine Postdoctoral Workstation and Key Laboratory.

At the meeting, it was announced that Li Tao, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Tokyo and director of the Shenzhen Stem Cell Engineering Research and Development Center, along with his research team, will establish a joint laboratory and postdoctoral research workstation for regenerative medicine at the Haibei Clinic in Xi'an High tech Zone on December 15th. This will help Xi'an build a gathering place for high-level innovative talents in regenerative medicine, stimulate talent innovation vitality, and create a new situation for the regenerative medicine industry in Shaanxi.

The soon to be completed Haibei and Sino-U.S. Saier Postdoctoral Workstation and Key Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine will be dedicated to the basic and translational research of regenerative medicine technology. The laboratory will collaborate with well-known domestic and foreign universities and authoritative experts to jointly build a high-end biomedical research innovation and transformation platform, carry out scientific research and clinical application research on stem cells for the repair of nerves, lungs, hearts, liver, kidneys, and nervous systems, and focus on building an integrated regenerative medicine complex that integrates production, research, education, and medicine, filling the research gap in the field of regenerative medicine in Shaanxi.

Xu Kai, representative of Sino US Saier Biotechnology Co., Ltd., stated that the construction of this research workstation is centered around Haibei Medical, relying on Professor Li Tao's rich clinical research experience and industry influence to attract high-level talents in biomedical fields such as master's and doctoral degrees, provide them with research platforms and technological guidance, and accumulate high-level talent for the development of regenerative medicine, scientific research, and industry in the high-tech zone, Xi'an city, and even in Shaanxi and Northwest China. It plays a strategic guidance and promotion role, promoting the development of western regenerative medicine and benefiting the people of Shaanxi.

Wang Jianfeng, Deputy General Manager of Xi'an Haibei Health Management Co., Ltd., stated that the soon to be completed postdoctoral workstation and key laboratory in regenerative medicine aims to play the role of a laboratory "think tank".
